Who am I?
My professional life started in 1995 and during this time I took part in many activities related to the technical, artistic and photographic world. Do you think that Tech and Art are not compatible?? They do are! Everything is art if you do it with passion and talent.
Actually I’m living in Tokyo, working as an independent photographer and as a Linux and FOSS adviser. I speak 5 languages: English, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Catalan and I’m used to interact with different cultures since I was a child. I’m an Italian with experience living in Spain, Venezuela and Japan.
I’m open to new projects, challenges and experiences. If you think that we can work together, don’t think twice and drop me an email. But before that, please read what I can do and what I cannot or I don’t want to do.
What can I do for you?
- Problems Solver: I love to solve problems, and I’m not afraid to learn new things to solve them. I have many years of experience facing many different problems, related to many fields, from computer related to photography, and cultural issues.
- Open licenses and Open Source Business adviser. I’m working with Linux and Open Source community since 1996. In all these years my main activity in this field has been Linux advocacy, migrations from Windows and Unixes to Linux, and managing technical communities. Actually I’m Vice President of the Tokyo Linux Users Group.
- Photography. I was grown up in a family of photographers, and now I’m combining technology and technical knowledge to the artistic background of an entire life dedicated to photography.
- Coaching. I have hundreds of hours of experience teaching computer related topics, from Unix Administration to Development. I also helped groups of students to challenge the search and the success to pass interviews and find a job with an 85% rate of success.
- Creativity. This is one of the most enjoyable activities I ever realized. Find creative solutions and find ideas for a better change.
What I cannot or I don’t want to do:
- I won’t do non effective procedures and repetitive work. I cannot work within a box following meaningless protocols.
- I cannot stand stupidity in all its forms. To understand what I understand stupidity is, check this link
- I won’t do any illegal or inappropriate work that may lead to provoke suffering or pain to other people
- I hate bureaucracy in all of its forms. Bureaucracy is one of this world cancers
